Rules for assigning titles to dogs in the RKF

Exhibition ranks

Exhibitions have a certain hierarchy. These are CAC level competitions, according to the RKF calendar, all breeds of dogs can participate in them. CACIB level competitions are also exhibitions of all races, except international ones, they are organized in accordance with the FCI calendar. There are also single-breed breeds in which representatives of the same breed compete (for example, collies). Such events are organized by the NKP; they are also divided according to the assigned titles: the ranks of candidates for club champions (CC) and the titles of club champions (CC). Once a year, a national exhibition of the breed club, the so-called “national”, takes place here.

RKF Regulations on the rules for assigning titles

All certificates are assigned and titles are issued only to dogs that have RKF pedigrees or are recognized by the RKF. All the titles listed below are entered into the Verk RKF Verkhovna Rada and are printed in certificates of origin (extracts from the RKF Verkhovna RKF Verkhovna Rada), issued to the descendants of this dog.

I. TITLES REGISTERED BY A SET OF CERTIFICATES

All-breed titles:

CHAMPION OF RUSSIA (CR) / RUSSIAN CHAMPION (CH RUS)

To obtain the title “CHAMPION OF RUSSIA” you must:

• For dogs registered in the Verkhovna RKF RKF: 4 CAC received from 4 different judges at RKF shows of the rank CAC and / or CACIB; There must be at least a year between the first and last CAC.

Special conditions:

– for dogs with the title “Young Champion of Russia”, a one-year interval between the first and last adult CAC certificate is not required to obtain the title “Champion of Russia”;

– for dogs that have a certificate “Winner of Eurasia” or “Winner of Russia”, the title “Champion of Russia” is issued by 1 CAC, received from another judge at any RKF show of the CAC or CACIB rank; a one-year interval between the “Winner of Eurasia” / “Winner of Russia” certificate and the CAC certificate is not required;

– at international exhibitions “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “A.P. Mazower Memorial”, CAC counts as 2 CAC, R.CAC counts as CAC; when obtaining the title “Champion of Russia” for two double CACs, a one-year interval between the first and second certificates is not required.

• For dogs registered in the stud books of other FCI or AKC, KC, CKC countries: 1 CAC, obtained at any RKF show of CAC or CACIB rank, and a certificate / diploma of the Champion of the country of residence, provided that this country issues titles to Russian Champions one at a time CAC; 2 CACs received from two different judges at any RKF exhibitions of CAC or CACIB rank, and a certificate / diploma of the Champion of the country of residence, if this country does not issue titles to Russian Champions for one CAC.

For dogs that received their first CAC before 12/31/2018, at the request of the owners, titles can be issued under both the old and new rules. Dogs that received their first CAC after 01/01/2019 will receive titles only according to the new rules.

JUNIOR CHAMPION OF RUSSIA (JCH RUS) / RUSSIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION (JCH RUS)

To obtain the title “JUNG CHAMPION OF RUSSIA” you must:

• For dogs registered in the Verk RKF: 3 JCAC, obtained from 3 different judges at RKF shows of the CAC and / or CACIB rank.

Special conditions: at international exhibitions “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “A.P. Mazower Memorial”, JCAC counts as 2 JCAC, R.JCAC counts as JCAC.

• For dogs registered in the stud books of other countries FCI or AKC, KC, CKC: 1 JCAC, obtained at any RKF show of CAC or CACIB rank, and a certificate / diploma of the Junior Champion of the country of residence.

Diplomas according to these rules are issued from 01/01/2019. JCAC certificates received before 12/31/2018 are taken into account.

VETERAN CHAMPION OF RUSSIA (VCHR) / RUSSIAN VETERAN CHAMPION (VCH RUS)

• For dogs registered in the Verkhovna RKF RKF: 3 VCAC, obtained from 3 different judges at RKF shows of the CAC and / or CACIB rank.

Special conditions: at international exhibitions “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “A.P. Mazower Memorial”, VCAC counts as 2 VCAC, R.VCAC counts as VCAC.

• For dogs registered in the stud books of other countries FCI or AKC, KC, CKC: 1 JCAC, obtained at any RKF show of CAC or CACIB rank, and a certificate / diploma of the Veteran Champion of the country of residence.

Diplomas according to these rules are issued from 01/01/2019. For the period from 06/05/2018 to 12/31/2018, in addition to VCAC certificates, “excellent 1, CW” diplomas received in the veteran class are taken into account.

CHAMPION RKF (ChRKF) / RKF CHAMPION (CH RKF)

To obtain the title “CHAMPION of the RKF” you must:

• Option 1. 1 certificate from ChRKF.

• Option 2. 3 “CHAMPION OF THE FEDERATION” (BSF) certificates from 3 different federations; certificates must be obtained under a minimum of two different judges.

RKF JUNIOR CHAMPION (JCH RKF)

To obtain the title “JUNG CHAMPION OF RKF” you must:

• Option 1. 1 certificate of the YuChRKF;

• Option 2. 2 certificates “JUNG CHAMPION OF THE FEDERATION” (YUCF) of 2 different federations; certificates must be obtained under different judges.

VETERAN-CHAMPION RKF (VCHRKF) / RKF VETERAN CHAMPION (VCH RKF)

To obtain the title “VETERAN-CHAMPION OF RKF” you must:

Depending on the rank of the exhibition, different certificates and titles are awarded. The main titles that dogs can receive in Russia are: Junior Champion of Russia, Champion of Russia, Interchampion, as well as Junior Club Champion and Club Champion.

These titles are awarded to dogs according to age and show rank. Depending on how old your pet is, he can become either a young champion or an adult. Youth vying for the title of young champions of Russia or a club are dogs aged 9-18 months. Those who are older should already be fighting for high titles.

Juniors

There are several ways to complete the title of Russian young champion or young club champion. According to the exhibition regulations, for the young champion of Russia it is necessary to obtain three JCAC certificates from three different judges at RKF events at the CAC and / or CACIB level. This means that your dog must win his class to become the top junior male/junior female. However, special conditions apply to such exhibitions as “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “Memorial A.P. Mazower." For the Junior class winners at these shows, one JCAC is worth two, and the reserve R.JCAC awarded to the second place dog is considered a JCAC. It should be borne in mind that at exhibitions, males and females are judged separately, and the winners compete for the title of best young animal of the breed.

CAC, CACIB, Black Sea Fleet, ect... – or what to do about it?

A dog show is a fun pastime. For beginners, this is a bright, obscure, hectic time. It’s good to have a competent assistant... But how can you figure it out yourself? More often than not, experienced dog owners or handlers have an encyclopedic knowledge of all shows, titles and certifications. But their explanations sound like intergalactic Martian jargon to a novice dog owner. Is it really that complicated? Let's try to figure it out.

First, you come to the exhibition. And you should already know what rank this event has. So we come to the first question. What is the rank of an exhibition, and what types of exhibitions are there?

In general, everything is very simple. Exhibitions can be all-breed - that is, dogs of all known breeds and single-breed dogs can be presented there; it is already clear from the name that this is an exhibition of dogs of one breed. Today we will take a detailed look at exhibitions of all breeds. What certificates and titles can be awarded and what they mean in the future.

Let's take it in order. All-breed exhibitions are international (CACIB FCI rank), national all breeds (CAC rank), and national for individual breed groups (CAC rank).

It is at these exhibitions that CAC certificates are awarded, on the basis of which your dog can receive the title Champion of Russia. The international exhibition, among other things (that is, CAC, JCAC, VCAC certificates), makes it possible to receive an applicant certificate for the title of International Champion. First, let's look at what certificates can be awarded at all-breed shows in Russia.

JCAC

— awarded to the Winners of the junior class male and female at international and national dog shows.

VCAC

— awarded to the Winners of the veteran class male and female at international and national dog shows.

CAC

- awarded at national dog shows of the CAC rank - only to the male and female who took first place in the comparison of winners of the intermediate, open, working, and champion classes.

— awarded at international level in each adult class. That is, all winners of the intermediate, open, working and champion classes, by decision of the judge, can receive CAC

CACIB

- can be awarded only at an international exhibition, only to the male and female who took first place in the comparison of winners of the intermediate, open, working, and champion classes.

Black Sea Fleet

— The champion of the federation is assigned at exhibitions of the rank BSF (Champion of the Federation) only to the male and female who took first place in the comparison of winners of the intermediate, open, working, champion classes, and at the exhibition of the rank CH RKF (Champion of the RKF) all winners of the adult classes (intermediate, working , open and champions).

YuChF

— The Junior Champion of the Federation is awarded at exhibitions of the rank of BSF (Champion of the Federation) to the winners of the junior class - male and female.

VChF

Obvious confusion usually occurs with Black Sea Fleet certificates. How much and what do you need? And for what? All these documents are collected to obtain the RKF CHAMPION

And there are only two options here. The simplest and easiest way is to receive a RKF Ch
at an all-breed show of the RKF Ch rank or an international show. He is simply exchanged for a certificate in the RKF, by analogy with the JUNIOR Champion of Russia and the Champion of Russia.

If you collect, then you need 3 certificates of the Black Sea Fleet of different federations (RFSS, RFLS, OANKOO, RFOS). In this case, the scheme is as follows: 3 BSF = RKF CHAMPION

So we come to a very time-consuming and complex question - How to become an International champion. First of all, it's not fast. 1 year and 1 day must pass between the first and last certificate (at least 366 days!). To qualify for such a high title, your dog must receive 4 CACIB

at international shows with three different judges in three different countries (temporarily - 2 countries) or in four regional groups in Russia (temporarily - At least two of the four CACIB certificates must be obtained from at least one foreign judge). For breeds that require a working certificate to obtain a title, different rules apply: 2 CACIB

received from 2 different judges, one of whom is a foreigner, in 2 different countries (temporarily - one country) or regional groups in Russia, with an interval of at least 366 days + an international certificate for working qualities.

NB Title CACIB

can be assigned to the male and female who took first place in the comparison of winners of the intermediate, open, working, and champion classes.

Temporary rules for assigning CIB and CIE titles

If the title is CACIB

assigned to a dog that has only an internal pedigree, the owner of the dog must, within 10 days after the end of the exhibition, exchange the pedigree for an export pedigree (and give a copy to the organizer for attachment to the exhibition report).
Otherwise, the CACIB
will not be confirmed.
This is always very important! Now, after each exhibition, 3-4 months later, you can view your dog’s results on the FCI website, make sure that CACIB
is confirmed and taken into account, print it out and save it until registration. Do not forget the name of the judge from this exhibition, because you will need such data when applying for an International Champion certificate. When all the conditions are met, you will be able to register it, just as you registered the Junior Champion of Russia and the Champion of Russia.
