Almost all of us, owners of tiny descendants of wolves, knit something for dogs of small breeds. Using the diagrams provided in this article, doing this is as easy as shelling pears. In winter, dog breeds such as Yorkies, Toy Terriers or Chihuahuas get very cold. Therefore, like us, they need warm knitted clothes. We knit socks for a pet
We will knit socks from cotton threads in 2 folds, crochet number 2 - 2.5, and we will also need beads (any kind) to design the laces.
I knitted these socks for a Yorkie puppy. They just started going outside to avoid hurting their paws.

We start knitting from the sole. We knit the first 3 rows according to this pattern.
We cast on 7 air loops and tie them in a circle, you get 13sc. Next we knit in a spiral. In the 2nd row we add another 7 sc - in the end we get 20 sc. In the 3rd row we add another 6 sc - in the end we get 26 sc.
In the 4th row - add 1 sc on the toe and on the heel, you get - 28 sc. And knit another 3-4 rows without increases or decreases - 28 sc.
In the 8th row, decrease 4 sc from the toe side, decrease after 1 sc. = 24sc. In the 9th row, decrease again 4 sc on the toe side and 1 sc on the heel side = 19 sc.
In the 10th row, decrease 2 sc from the toe side = 17 sc. Knit rows 11-12 evenly, 17sc per row. In the 13th row we evenly add 3sc = 20sc. Rows 14-18 - knit exactly = 20 sc. 19th row - evenly decrease 2sc = 18sc.
We knit 4 pieces. such socks! Then we knit lacing from air loops, thread it through the sock and secure the beads at the ends.

We start by tying the collar. We will have it with a lapel. You need to cast on gray yarn on circular sp. 70 loops.
From the 1st to the 12th row: elastic band 1x1p. with alternating colors of four rows each: gray, red, white. Then we switch to gray again and continue in the same way up to 9 cm.
Tummy and back
We switch to straight knitting needles No. 2.5.
Divide all loops into two parts - 24 sts. for the belly and 46p. on the back. Each of these parts is knitted separately, then we will sew them.
Back
1r. 1 edge, 1 yarn over, 11p. – elastic band 1x1, 28 p. according to the pattern (see diagram), 11 p. elastic band 1x1, 1 yarn over, 1 edge band.
In the 2nd and all even rows we knit the yarn overs with crossed loops so that there are no holes and include them in the ribbed pattern.
In odd rows we make a symmetrical increase on both sides by 1p. In this way we will continue to the armhole, this is 11 rows.
Tummy
1st row: add 15 stitches, distributing yarn overs every 1-2 stitches. It turns out 39p.
2 rub. and all even ones: with an elastic band 1x1, while making a symmetrical increase on both sides by 1p. So we continue until the armhole, this is 11 rows.
Armhole
It will be 12 rubles. our work. Close in 3 p. on both sides on the back and tummy.
Next, using the same method, we knit another 11 r. At 24 p.m. add 3 p. on both sides of the back and tummy, picking up air loops.
For the tummy, we knit a little more with an even fabric, until we get 14cm from the collar. We close the loops.
On the back we will also make exactly 19cm according to the pattern. Next, we make a decrease symmetrically on both sides, knitting 2 stitches. one in each even row. After 23 cm we switch to a 1x1 rubber band. Having knitted 1.5 cm, close the loops.
Sleeves and legs
These parts can be knitted on straight needles and then sewn along the side line. And if you want to get a seamless option, then use the knitting method on circular knitting needles. For sleeves we cast on 30p. gray threads and knit a 2x2 elastic band. Having knitted 2 r., in the 3rd r. add 1 p. along the edges, then change the color of the threads to red, knit 2 p., and with the 3rd again add 1 p. along the edges. We knit the next rows with white threads. The pattern is the same: two rows exactly, in the 3rd there is a symmetrical increase of 1 p. at both sides. We return to gray again. Having knitted a total of 4 cm, close the loops.
We will do the pant legs of the overalls in the same way, only first we cast on 42p. And the increase is made twice - on the 6th and 12th r. Pants length -5.5 cm.
