Purchasing a bull terrier puppy is a responsible and important act that you need to think carefully about before doing. This is especially true for those people who are going to become truly responsible dog breeders. The question of choice should be approached carefully and without haste, comparing your own habits, daily routine and the nature of the chosen breed. When the future owner has decided on the breed, a new dilemma arises: how to find a bona fide breeder? Here you need to be extremely careful not to become a prematurely disappointed dog owner.
Buying a bull terrier puppy is a very exciting event, because you can say that a new family member will appear. To ensure that the event does not overshadow anything, it is worth taking a responsible approach to choosing a breeder. There are no bad dog breeds; you can simply run into an unscrupulous breeder for whom money comes first. The future owner is at great risk of buying an animal that has a lot of health problems. It is for this reason that you need, first of all, to get to know the breeder well, read reviews about him and the like.

Origin of the Miniature Bull Terrier breed
The Miniature Bull Terrier breed was bred at the beginning of the 19th century in Great Britain; these dogs received the right to participate in exhibitions only in 1963, and only in the early 90s was it registered as an independent breed.
What does a minibull look like? Bull Terrier Character
The height of a minibull is from 25 to 35 cm (half the size of a classic bull terrier), weight no more than 15 kg. Deviations in height are a breed defect. They have a strong jaw and the phrase “death grip” is about bull terriers. They can bite a cat or small breed dog.
Acceptable colors: white, white with black spots, brindle, tricolor. The coat is short and hard, and with proper care it is shiny. Bite: straight or scissors.
Do not confuse the miniature and dwarf bull terrier. The Dwarf Bull Terrier has bulging eyes and a round head - this is a fault. Miniature - a smaller copy of the standard bull terrier.
The character is energetic and active. But this does not mean that the dog is difficult to train. Minibull is well trained.
How to care for a mini bull terrier
Caring for a minibull is easy. His fur is short and hard; during shedding, you need to comb it out thoroughly so that it doesn’t lie everywhere and prick like Christmas tree needles. This dog sheds in spring and autumn. Instead of constantly washing, wiping with a wet towel or sponge is suitable for this type of dog.
As for the claws of city dogs, they often wear off on asphalt and other hard surfaces. If this does not happen, then the claws need to be trimmed twice a month.
Do not let your pet gain weight, otherwise its muscles will turn into fat and all sorts of diseases will begin. In general, Bull Terriers are healthy dogs with healthy immune systems. Puppies may have a lack of zinc, in which case they will have skin problems and nervousness.
Remember, the more your dog has exercised outdoors, the calmer he will be at home.
What to feed a minibull
This breed needs a balanced, easily digestible, high-calorie diet, plus vitamins and minerals. This balance can be achieved in natural food, dry food, or a combination of both.
The basis of the bull terrier's diet is meat. Beef, turkey, boiled and raw chicken are suitable. Fish, fish oil. Cereal porridge without added salt, cooked in water or goat's milk. You can add a little vegetable oil to the porridge. Sometimes give your pet eggs, they are a source of microelements and proteins. Greens and vegetables, both raw and boiled or stewed, will be beneficial for your dog.
Of course, constantly preparing natural food and making sure it is balanced is almost impossible. Sooner or later you will have to at least partially switch your pet to dry food. It is better to consult a bull terrier breeder about food. If you feed your dog only dry food, make sure there is always a bowl of water or milk nearby.
They will probably try to convince you that dry food has everything a dog needs. Don't believe it. Any treatment, even at low temperatures, kills beneficial substances.
Interesting facts about the bull terrier
In the late 80s, a commercial for Budweiser beer was broadcast on TV, where the main role went to a bull terrier named Mackenzie. His sly smile and funny antics captivated the audience more than an advertising product.
Bull Terriers have a low life expectancy - up to 8 years.
A bull terrier named Vila, together with the police, saved 32 people, 29 dogs, 3 horses and even one cat. There is a known case when a bull terrier saved a family from a bandit. The dog died from three bullets he received, but never loosened his grip on the bandit’s neck.

From "The Constellation of Adomas"
Our kennel has been dealing with Cane Corso dogs since 2001; these are magnificent dogs that still do not leave us indifferent and bring a lot of joy from communication! But at some point, I realized that sometimes I really want to communicate with a smaller dog. Yes, and adult Corsas play with puppies with pleasure, and when the kids move away, they get bored and lazy. The main thing when choosing a small dog breed was the desire for them to be Dogs with a capital D, and not decorative toys. No, I have nothing against cheerful and bright Spitz dogs, sophisticated Toys, arrogant Yorkies and other small dogs, but I wanted a Dog…. Again, it was important that the Cane Corso, having played out, did not “break” the small dog and harm it. I often go to exhibitions and, of course, I knew and saw the bull terrier breed more than once. But the size of the bulls is actually the same as that of Corsos, and, judging by the reviews of knowledgeable breeders, their character is more serious.
And then, in 2009, I came across a very cute bull terrier puppy, to say that the dog was charming and smiling is to say nothing…. The puppy happily interacted with adult dogs (which was a big plus), and with people, and with children (which was just a huge plus!).
When I started asking the owners how the little one behaved at home, I was surprised to learn that it was a fully grown two-year-old dog, but not a bull terrier, but a miniature bull terrier. I became more seriously interested in the Minibull breed, because... I think that making an important decision, and within the kennel the appearance of a dog of a different breed is a very important and significant decision, and it must be taken carefully and consciously.
At that time, there was not enough information about miniature bulls; mostly there were articles about large bull terriers. The first thing I certainly didn’t like was aggression towards other dogs. I understand that the main purpose of a bull terrier is to hunt first and then fight, but I did not need either one or the other. And then I began to communicate with those who have miniature bull terrier dogs. One of the names of the minibull is “clown dog,” and as it turned out later, this is really true. The miniature bull terrier was first bred as a rat-hunting dog, and there were miniature dog-sized miniatures. Subsequently, the standard was increased to 35.5 cm at the withers, and the task of minimizing aggression towards animals was made a priority. Because The minibull, like the bull terrier, is an English breed, and, as you know, the English are the best specialists in canine science in stabilizing the breed type and character, so they did what they planned.
The minibulin is a companion dog; at the moment there are already three minibulins in my kennel, and they all get along well with each other and with corsas.
Our eldest girl, Cuba, is already five years old, she spends 3-4 months in the kennel, and the rest of the time she lives at home with her personal mistress and her personal cane corsa Fanya “Iz Constellation Adomas”. Kuba has a permanent place of residence in “sunny” Magadan, but in the summer, when her owners go on vacation to the sea, Fanya and Kuba go to warm Moscow!
My second minibul Murrzza came to the nursery from Estonia, she was born in the Pottsu de Notzu nursery, and thanks to Margot (the owner of the nursery), who entrusted Murrzzyavkina to me!
The third girl, Plusha, arrived from Hungary, the Bekato Party nursery, and although the owner Zolt and I had a very difficult time sending Plusha from Hungary to Moscow, everything worked out, and the young lady lives in the nursery! Our baby Darling “From the Constellation of Adomas” (called Cupcake at home) has already been born to us and has gone to his new parents and, of course, to his friend Cane Cors Duncan “From the Constellation of Adomas”. And I just now decided to make a separate beautiful website for our mini-bulls. I hope that the photographs of our dogs and my articles will please you, and that the little mini-bulik will bring even more joy to your home!!!
