Belcando is a dog food from the German company Bewital Petfood, which also produces by-products for Leonardo cats. The company was founded in 1963 by Bernard Wigger. Since childhood, he dreamed of developing healthy and high-quality food for his pets. While living on a farm, he followed the process of making offal, and later created his own line.

Thanks to their high quality, the products have been famous on the European market for 40 years. The food is sold in all countries of the European Union, as well as in 20 other countries.

The raw materials for Belcando products fully comply with European and international quality standards (HACCP and ISO 9001). Meat and fish are processed within 24 hours after slaughter or catch. In addition, a special “gentle” processing technology allows you to preserve all vitamins and minerals. Fats are added separately in certain dosages.

Feed range

There are currently more than 30 items in the product line . Additionally developed food for dogs with allergies is especially popular; it allows you to solve problems with the intestinal tract in urban pets.

The total mass of feed is divided into four subtypes:

The first ingredient “fresh poultry (30%)” and the third “poultry protein, dried (16%)” are the main sources of protein. What kind of poultry meat is not specified, which is bad (what if it’s chicken, and the dog is allergic to chicken).

In second place is corn, together with potato starch, it is a source of carbohydrates. Potato starch is also a thickening agent. Fishmeal from sea fish is a source of protein and many vitamins and minerals.

Dried beet pulp is a source of fiber. Carob pods are a source of carbohydrates and other substances. Grape seed extract (2.5%) is a source of vitamin E and other substances. Brewer's yeast is a source of B-group vitamins. Poultry liver, hydrolyzed, is a natural flavoring additive.
