Brit Care for cats and its components
Some reviews of Brit brand cat food indicate that, despite the fact that they are also divided into two series (Care and Premium), the first variety is still better than the second. However, these are only personal opinions and not everyone can agree with this.
Let's analyze the composition of Brit food for cats, regardless of what animals it is intended for, and find out how good this food is for your pet. Many of the ingredients in cat food are also found in dog food, but their characteristics are identical.
Meat
The meat used for Brit feed is dehydrated (dehydrated). Even though it is processed in this way, it still retains its taste and contains the same amount of protein as the fresh product. However, it is unknown what composition of meat is contained in the feed; it can be either ground fillet or particles of skin and bones. There are types of food that say that they are made from fillet. Another ingredient in Brit food is meat-based meal .
Carbohydrates and fats
The composition of carbohydrates in Brit cat food is as follows:
- rice bran;
- rice;
- potato flour;
- dried potatoes.
All these ingredients do not cause allergic reactions in cats , and potatoes are a source of vitamins and other useful substances.
Fat component
Fats in Brit food are sources of Omega and linoleic acid. For production the following are used:
- chicken fat;
- fishy;
- salmon oil.
All of them are of high quality and enrich the animal’s diet.
Additives in Brit Care cat food
Each ingredient in Brit food has its own purpose:
- beet pulp improves animal stool;
- glucosamine – for joint health;
- Brewer's yeast is a source of vitamin B;
- chicken liver improves the taste of the product without the use of harmful additives;
- dried apples contain pectin and vitamins;
- prebiotics increase the animal’s body’s resistance to bacteria and viruses;
- plantain, sea buckthorn and other plant ingredients have medicinal properties.
The composition of Brit cat food has changed for the better several times. So, recently they removed corn , which could cause allergies, as well as valerian, which causes the animal to become addicted to the product. Thus, we can conclude that manufacturers carefully study the feedback from their customers and take them into account when improving their products.
According to the analyzes carried out, the level of proteins and fats in Brit feed does not exceed acceptable standards, they are balanced and well digestible by animals.

Reviews:
Elena. I bought it for my pet, the price turned out to be a little more expensive than similar foods. At first the cat didn’t like the new food, but then he tried it. Now he eats with pleasure. I noticed that the animal’s fur began to shine, and my mood lifted. Now I only take it.
Marina. For a long time now I have been taking only holistic food for my British dog. Mostly I bought Carney Love. The price turned out to be expensive. Out of curiosity, I read the composition of Brit’s food and was pleasantly surprised by it. The high percentage of meat content was a pleasant surprise. It turned out that Brit is an excellent combination of price and quality.
Christina. My cat is 13 years old. Over time, I began to notice that he became lazier and calmer. The fur lost its shine and began to fall out. After three months of eating Brit Angel food, the cat noticeably perked up, became cheerful, and his fur began to shine with health again. Although there is a minus - the animal’s feces began to smell stronger.
Reviews from veterinarians and buyers about the food
Dog owners and veterinarians often share their opinions about the pet foods they use.
Owner reviews:
- Ksenia, owner of an English bull terrier:
“We feed the dog this food starting from 5 months of age. At first we were on Junior, now we’ve been on Edalt for almost a year. Compared to other premium foods, this is heaven and earth. First of all, he eats with pleasure. Secondly, the condition of the coat and the whole body as a whole is more than satisfactory for us. In the postoperative period, we returned to Junior with a richer vitamin composition, the dog’s recovery improved by 5 points.”
- Tatyana, owner of a Labrador:
“I have been feeding my dog with Brit since puppyhood. There were no complaints, but by the age of five we started having problems with our ears and increased hair loss. An allergy to chicken was discovered. The vet advised me to switch to hypoallergenic lamb. We have been feeding it for six months now, the allergies are gone, the dog is healthy and active. Another advantage I would like to highlight is that the granules hardly crumble, unlike many other foods.
I definitely recommend Brit for feeding large dogs!”
Reviews from veterinarians:
- Maxim, veterinarian with 5 years of experience:
“Brit is produced in Europe and has quality certificates. I think this food is universal. The protein content in almost all feeds exceeds 40%, which is the optimal indicator for any animals. The composition contains a rich vitamin complex.
The advantage of the line is the division according to the age and size needs of dogs, as well as the availability of diets for allergy sufferers, neutered and hyperactive dogs.”
