There are both positive and negative reviews about Nero Gold cat food, although the latter are in the minority. The composition is quite good for a premium class; this food can already be used as the main diet of a cat.

Feed composition content

The largest part of any product is the meat component - about 25%. Meat is a source of proteins; the manufacturer does not use proteins of plant origin, which is beneficial for dogs.
The source of carbohydrates is usually rice and corn cereals and their component accounts for 14%. The proportion of fat, depending on the type of feed, ranges from 12 to 20%; animal fats and flaxseed are used.
The food is supplemented with vitamins, amino acids and yeast for shiny coat. There are practically no vegetables in the composition; some foods include beet pulp to improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
The manufacturer is proud that it does not use such common components as soy, dairy products, meat and blood of pork and beef, as well as wheat in Nero Gold food - after all, it has long been proven that they can become a source of allergies and food complications in animals.
What does it consist of?
The answer lies in the composition: as befits a super premium, meat (chicken, beef) comes first, then maize (in Russian, corn, which is a source of vegetable protein and other useful elements), the source of heavy carbohydrates here is rice and chicken fat. After reading on websites about everyone’s favorite Pedigri brand, I simply covered my face with my hands and was shocked at how these chemicals were ruining dogs, Svetlana shared with us.
